Note: This is yesterday's post. Today's post is below this one, it's called "Bad Dreams and Superstitions". Blogger did some kind of maintenence and said that they removed Wednesday's posts, when in fact yesterday's post is the one missing. Weird.
I added “Cheers” to my Netflix instant queue. Every single episode that ever aired is in this folder and I started watching from the beginning last night. I know that it’s strange, but I didn’t watch “Cheers”. I have seen re-runs, but I didn’t watch it when it was on. Don was stunned and told me that it’s one of the best shows ever made; we watched 3 episodes last night. I know the song—who doesn’t—and I have been to the bar in Boston, and now I will finally watch the show……30 years later. The pilot aired in 1982, which means that I was a year or two old. Isn’t that crazy???? I’m talking to you, Mom, Libbie, Dad, and Greg. Can you believe that that show is so old? It came out before the Challenger blew up and that was a long time ago! I remember when the Challenger blew up. It’s the only memory I have of my parents sitting on the same couch. Seems like an eternity ago. Alright, I’m finished rambling. I'm sure that my intellect has left you with plenty to chew on today. HA! Deep thoughts, by Brittany Chenault.
