I have had the flu all week, which has really sucked. I feel like I have been hit by a truck, I am depressed from watching TV for four days, and I am quite sure my muscles have atrophied.
I'll tell you one thing....I may really like being alone and independent on a normal day, but all of that goes out the window when you get the flu. You either want your mom or a man and I have neither here. When I got tested for the flu after work on Monday, I got my Tamiflu, I loaded up on food and juice and ibuprofen, and prepared myself for a hobble down the stairs to the kitchen once in a while.
It sucked. I feel better, just gross.
